Nofollow
A link attribute telling search engines not to pass authority. Now a hint rather than an instruction, and routinely applied to paid and user-generated links.
Noindex
An instruction telling search engines not to store a page. Useful and dangerous in equal measure: left on by accident, it removes a page completely.
