Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
A description of the kind of organization you sell to best: size, sector, systems, buying process. Narrower than a target audience, and it is about the company rather than the person.

Impression
One appearance of a page in a set of results. It means the page was shown, not that anyone read it, which is why impressions alone prove very little.
Inclusion
Being named in an AI answer itself rather than appearing beneath it as a source. Measured separately from citation, because a page can be the source of an answer that never mentions who published it.

Indexation
Whether a search engine has stored a page and is willing to show it. A page can be crawled and still not indexed, and that gap is where most technical problems hide.

IndexNow
A protocol for telling a search engine that a URL has been created, updated or deleted, instead of waiting to be crawled. Bing and Yandex support it; Google has not adopted it.

Information Gain
What a page adds that is not already present in the results above it. A page that only restates the existing consensus gives an engine no reason to show it instead of them.

Internal Linking
Links between pages on the same site. The cheapest ranking lever most sites have, and the one that decides which of your own pages search engines treat as important.

ItemList Schema
The Schema.org type describing an ordered or unordered list of items. It is how a ranked list, a set of links or a glossary index is expressed so that a machine reads it as a list.
